Work with me

Looking for an SEO content marketer who writes content AND builds the systems to produce it consistently?

I’m Jake, and I help B2B SaaS teams and marketing agencies turn complex products into content that:

  • Ranks in search engines
  • Gets cited by AI assistants
  • Convert readers into customers

I’ve worked with companies like Ahrefs, Semrush, Kinsta, and a bunch of others building content strategies, writing technical guides, and creating systems that scale without falling apart.

What I do:

  • SEO Content Strategy – Not just keyword lists. Actual strategy: topic clusters, internal linking architecture, intent mapping, the stuff that makes SEO work long-term.
  • Technical Writing – Long-form guides, tutorials, help docs, SOPs. If it’s complex and needs explaining to humans, I can write it.
  • AI/LLM Optimization – Your content needs to work for both Google and ChatGPT now. I build scorecards, optimize for AI citation, and structure content so it actually gets referenced by LLMs.
  • Content Operations – Playbooks, templates, multi-agent workflows. I build systems so your content production doesn’t collapse when you scale.

Who I work with:

  • B2B SaaS companies who need someone who gets technical products
  • SEO agencies who want content that ranks, without 47 rounds of edits
  • Marketing teams tired of writers who don’t understand search intent

I’m available on project or retainer basis. Typical projects: content audits, SEO strategy, technical writing, content system design.

What people say about working with me

Nick Eubanks

The templates Jake created for us are the most popular resources in the Traffic Think Tank Academy. And the articles he’s written for us are so good we send them to people creating new content for TTT as an example of what we consider great content. On top of all that, Jake is incredibly easy to work with, a great communicator, and never misses a deadline. I can’t recommend working with him enough.

Matteo Duò

Jake is such an incredible content marketer and talented writer, whom any editor or Marketing manager would want to hug every time he delivers his work. Why? Every piece of content is meticulously crafted and developed into what you know you’d wanted from the beginning yet weren’t able to create for whatever reason.

Jake was like a big green SEO button. I hit “go” and a few weeks later our blog was ranking for more target keywords. He even taught me as he went (+ provided ample show-of-work) so we can replicate his results in-house going forward.

Simply brilliant! By far the best content strategy work I’ve seen. The included SERP landscape and competitor analysis reports were a nice touch.

The content strategy Jake put together was fantastic. Rather than just a dump of words and numbers, it was concise, contextualised and gave me clear suggestions on what to write about to improve my rankings.

And yes, I am fully aware that jsvxc is a stupid and un-pronounceable personal brand name ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Also, saying the phrase personal brand name gives me the ick. (That’s what the cool kids say right?)

    So what does jsvxc mean?

Is there a profound meaning? Is it something cryptic?

Nope. It’s a meaningless collection of letters I liked the look of because I got fed up of usernames not being available.

Also, I quite like the fact it’s pretty much un-pronouncable. Any attempts to say it out loud are welcome. Simply record yourself saying it, and under no circumstances send it to me. K thx bye ✌️
